What we collect
A WeChat application identity, sign-in verification result, privacy consent record, and essential security logs.
Account display
Accounts use a default G avatar. This release does not request your WeChat name or avatar, so no additional profile authorization is needed.
Why we collect it
To create or identify a Gibbai account, maintain sign-in, prevent sign-in abuse, and protect account security.
Service provider
WeChat Official Accounts Platform verifies sign-in through the Gibbai official account. You need to follow this account on your first sign-in. We do not collect your WeChat password or contacts. We collect a phone number only when you choose to bind it or sign in with SMS. Alibaba Cloud SMS sends verification codes, not marketing messages.
Membership and WeChat Pay
When you purchase membership, we process your Gibbai account, order number, plan, amount, payment and refund results, membership expiry and necessary transaction verification records to receive payment, activate membership, provide support and reconcile transactions. WeChat Pay handles payments and refunds to the original payment method. Gibbai does not collect your payment or bank card passwords.
AI search
Local folder management and local AI indexing run on your computer. For online search, submitted search text and processed reference images are handled by Gibbai and Alibaba Cloud Bailian for translation, search embeddings and results. Query images are stored as private objects; necessary search vectors and records are stored in our service and are not made public to other users.
Visit and runtime statistics
We process necessary page visits, download requests, client versions, runtime and error records to understand usage and investigate faults. Sign-in, transactions and necessary operations retain security and audit records.
How it is protected
Phone numbers are encrypted, matched by a one-way digest and displayed in masked form. WeChat identity is stored as a digest. WeChat tokens and credentials are not stored in browser-readable persistent storage.
Retention and your rights
Account identity and required consent records are retained while the account and required services remain active. Orders, refunds and necessary audit records are retained for service delivery, support, reconciliation and legal obligations; signing out does not delete them. Self-service account closure is not available. Use the contact below to request access, correction or account closure, subject to required retention of transaction records.
No marketing consent
Accepting this policy only covers processing required for sign-in. It does not authorize marketing messages or campaigns.
